The Worshipful Master, Phil Smith, was delighted to support to a sum of £1500 Skipton Junior's Football Club. This money is for some new movable goal posts. This allows the quick set of matches and safe storage for the growing club. The posts were delivered just before the Lock Down and are emblazoned with the Square and Compass. This story also was picked up by our local newspaper, which has a large circulation in the community. They published a favorable article which has shown the Worshipful Master's, and Lodge's commitment to their local community.
A cheque from the P.G.M.'s Fund for £1800.00 was presented to Highbury School on Friday 31st January 2020.
Highbury School is located at Lower Edge Road, Rastrick Brighouse. It is a Specialist school providing education for children with a wide range of complex special educational needs and disabilities from ages 3 - 11yrs.
The grant enabled them to buy a range of resources to help the children with their sensory needs. Some of the children at the school have multi-sensory impairments such as visual and auditory.
The resources will provide them with the sensory feedback they require, and help them to progress and develop their sensory needs and help build their tactile defensiveness.
Some of the resources to be bought can be seen on the projection, on the wall, in the picture below.
