James is an Associate in a Sheffield city centre law firm, although currently trying his hand at working remotely from home. He is a keen follower of all sports, but has a fondness of Liverpool FC and boxing.

​James is a twin; his brother Michael is also a Mason and a member of Cathedral Lodge.
