W Bro. Peter Harry BurnleyProvincial Junior Grand Deacon
Coming to Freemasonry later in life, I was initiated into the Lodge of EFF on 7th September 2007.
When my father passed away in 1962, I was educated at the Royal Masonic School for Boys. This year as the 125th President of the Old Masonians Association I will be visiting branches across the country in support of the local associations and members. Having left school in 1968 I commenced work as an apprentice mechanical engineer. In 1980 I moved to Bradford College and eventually became Training & Technology manager for a dedicated electronics industry training centre. My involvement with the Yorkshire Show began early on in my Masonic career, becoming the Coordinator Yorkshire Freemasons stand. I have acted as Case Almoner for a local family on behalf of the RMTGB. My other interests include serving St Barnabas Church, Heaton as Churchwarden, Treasurer. I am also Treasurer for Heaton Village Hall. During any spare time, I keep an eye on my 10 Grandchildren! |
